I just moved my piano and I want it tuned.

It is important for a piano to settle in to it’s new enviroment before it is tuned. This normally takes around 4 weeks.

How long does it take for a tuning?

We allow an hour for a tuning, but a fine tuning may take anywhere upwords of 45 minutes.

How do I know if my piano is out of tune?

If a piano sounds out of tune to the owner of the instument, it probably needed tuning weeks ago. A well maintained piano should sound good all the time.

Is it worth tuning a piano, if it hasn't been done in year?

This really depends on the overall condition of the piano. I would not change to tune a piano and then say it wasn’t worth doing! Condition is mor important than age.
